Hawaii

I can't believe it's been three weeks since we went to Hawaii! It was a much needed vacation for all of us! Makayla stopped throwing up just hours before we left for the airport, to say I had anxiety would be an understatement!

She handled the plane ride like a champ. Mom and Dad on the other hand...we were the ones that struggled. One particular passenger kept touching her face, I kept asking her to stop and she would say "It's okay I from Spain" "Oh you must be a first time mom" Makayla had enough and would cry anytime she looked at her, I knew really she was just tired but we finally got her to sleep and she woke up just in time to see us approaching Hawaii!
As soon as we got to the house we got straight into our swimming suits....and didn't get out of the pool until late Thursday night! We forgot Makayla's floaty and had to improvise, it worked...for about 10 minutes and she was done! However as soon as we would take her out of the pool she would cry until we got back in. She's defintely a water baby like her dad!

Friday we spent in downtown Waikiki and life was sooo great you think you've planned ahead and we're walking into the rehearsal dinner...and your daughter has an explosion and it gets not just all over her dress but your dress too. Yay for husbands that gag as they clean your dress in a public restroom sink as you clean up the baby and get her changed. I'll forever miss that outfit but there was no way I was carrying around her poopy clothes that had my items as well! A memory we'll remember for years to come!

No filters...but this was the best part every night, the beautiful scenery!

Saturday lounging at the Trump. It was a great day of relaxation and pampering!
Little Miss loved her first limo ride! The lights were her second favorite part...the first being no car seat!
I sure missed being away from this man all day! Makayla kept crawling everywhere saying"dada" and very confused why she hadn't seen him all day! He sure cleans up nice!
The Jones and Coyle families! It was so fun meeting them and spending a few days getting to know them!
We take our football very seriously, especially when it comes to the Utes. Therefore we watched the game on our phones between the dinner and reception....and every second we could!
I love this family of mine...little miss wasn't the biggest fan of the humidity, and the fact there was a pool and she kept reaching for it but couldn't get in. Tough life for an 8 month old!

Sunrises NEVER got old.
Go ahead and judge...EVERY morning we walked out on the sand and looked like complete hobos but I didn't care and little miss was in heaven!
I never got tired of laying out and having this view...when can I go back Traw?!
Like normal, little miss loved the sand, and tried numerous times to eat it!
I am so in love and obsessed with these two
I have the cutest best friends/family ever. My water babies
On the second to last day we took a break from the humidity and drove some of the coast, it was all beautiful and Makayla got the best much needed nap.
Of course as soon as we got back to the house it was straight back into the pool.
Our last day was not my favorite...we spent it at the Ala Moana hotel
Took Makayla to the Ala Moana Mall and of course spoiled her, and Terry. Makayla loved getting all the toys she could've got at home and watching all the fish! I however hated that every hour I was running to the restroom puking.
My husband is amazing, taking care of an onry baby and a sick wife isn't easy(especially because Makayla and I are probably the hardest people to take care of) he offered for us to stay another night but all I wanted was to get home to my bed, but I will tell you that was the looongest flight of my life!
It was such a perfect week in paradise, can't wait for our next adventure!

XOXO
